About The Parade

About the 51st Annual Parade – 2026

The 51st Annual Queens County St. Patrick’s Day Parade proudly continues a tradition that has celebrated Irish heritage, community pride, and the vibrant spirit of Rockaway for more than five decades. Each year, residents, families, civic organizations, schools, and local businesses come together to honor Irish culture while strengthening the bonds that make our community so special.

What began as a local celebration has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the area, bringing together marching bands, community groups, public service organizations, and cultural societies to participate in a day filled with music, tradition, and celebration. The parade proudly showcases the diversity and unity of our neighborhoods while paying tribute to the rich history and cultural contributions of the Irish community.

The 51st parade in 2026 marks another important milestone for the Queens County St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. Throughout the parade season, a series of events are held to recognize our honorees, celebrate Irish heritage, and prepare for parade day. From the installation dinner and community gatherings to the parade mass and the procession along Rockaway Beach Boulevard, each moment reflects the pride and dedication of those who keep this tradition alive.

As we celebrate the 51st year of the parade, we invite everyone to join us in honoring the traditions of the past while continuing to build a strong and connected community for generations to come. Whether you are marching in the parade, supporting a local organization, or simply enjoying the festivities with family and friends, your participation helps keep this proud tradition alive.
